Purpose

This regulation sets energy efficiency saving targets.

Relevance for renewable energy

This regulation provides that public bodies are required to purchase efficient products and vehicles that satisfy SEAI's criteria for energy efficiency or are listed in the Triple E Product Register (e.g. solar thermal installations, photovoltaic installations, electric vehicles, and so on).
