| Purpose | Implementing the resolutions made at the national environment summit. |
| Relevance for renewable energy | Chapter IV of the act is on energy. According to this chapter, renewable energy shall also be developed on the regional level. To this aim, the regions shall design a programme for the development of renewable energy. In addition, the power grid shall be upgraded to meet the requirements of renewable energy (art. 19 Loi n° 2009-967). |
