Grid issues

In Sweden, access of electricity from renewable sources to the grid is subject to the general provisions laid down in the Electricity Act. According to these statutory provisions, the grid operator shall hold a licence, which obliges him to connect electricity generation systems to the grid, transmit electricity and expand the grid. Renewable energy is not given priority.
