State Plan of Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017 – 2020

The State Plan of Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2017-2020 is the strategic framework of reference for Spain in terms of research and innovation. The financing modalities of the aid included in the State Plans include: subsidies; non-refundable loans; partially repayable loans, and reimbursable advances. One of its strategic actions is “Energy and Climate Change”. This action focuses on The development of the next generation of RES (hydrogen is also included) and the Design Of Networks and Flexible And Distributed Management Systems. 

Obligated entities

The Programme is directed to all the agents of the Spanish System of Science, Technology and Innovation, both public and private, including companies.
