The most substantial support for RES heating and cooling in Slovenia is a financial incentive from the Ministry of Infrastructure via public (state owned) energy companies) and a (soft) loan scheme financed by the Eco Fund.

Policies

The following policies aim at promoting the development, installation and usage of RES plants: a training programme for RES-installers, a certification scheme for RES installations, exemplary role of authorities in the public sector, building obligations, which foresee the usage of RES and a support for RES-H infrastructure.
