Summary of support schemes
Feed-in tariff. Regional distribution system operators are statutorily obliged to purchase and pay for electricity from renewable energy sources.
Subsidies. Plant operators may receive subsidies for the support of RES from the Operational Programme Quality of Environment funded by the ERDF.
Tax regulation mechanisms. Electricity generated from renewable energy sources is exempt from excise tax.
Technologies
In general, all renewable electricity generation technologies are eligible for support.
