| Purpose | The purpose of this law is to promote the use of renewable energy sources for the production of electricity and of energy for heating and cooling. In addition, it promotes the use of renewable energy in the transport sector. It also provides a regulatory framework both in general and in particular for the technical infrastructure for renewable energy sources and efficient cogeneration. |
