Flanders: Support of RES-H infrastructure

In June 2017, the Flemish government approved the Strategy on Heating and Cooling of the Energy Minister Tommelein. The Strategy provides for area-based RES-H policies. District heating is envisaged to facilitate the use of waste heat and renewable energy. As of November 2017, district heating systems are further developed and expanded.
