Subsidiy (ISDE)

The Investeringssubidie Duurzame Energie (ISDE) provides both private persons and small-scale business with a subsidy for the purchase of solar thermal collects (art. 4.5.5), heat pumps (art. 4.5.4), biomass boilers (art. 4.5.7) and pellet stoves (art. 4.5.6).
Eligible technologies
Only for solar thermal collectors, heat pumps, biomass boilers and pellet stoves.

Solar energy | Only solar thermal boilers with a maximum total surface of 200m² (Art. 4.5.5)
Solar thermal boilers (Art. 4.5.9) amount of subsidy:
<10m2: € 0,68 / kWh
>10m2: € 0,30 / kWh
The subsidy increases by €150 in case the soilar boiler belongs to the energy efficiency class A + and by €300 if the soilar boiler belongs to the energy efficiency class A ++ |

Geothermal energy | Only heat pumps with a maximal capacity of 70kW (art. 4.5.4)
Subsidy amount:
-Air (art. 4.5.8 (1)):
≤ 1kWh: €1100
> 1 kW: €1100 + €100 for every kW above 1 kW
-Water-water or ground-water (art. 4.5.8 (2)):
≤ 10 kW: € 2500
> 10 kW: €2500 + €100 for every kW above 10 kW.
The subsidy increases by €150 in case the heat pump belongs to the energy efficiency class A + and by €300 if the heat pump belongs to the energy efficiency class A ++ |

Biomass boilers (Art. 4.5.11) - ≤ 40 kW: €2500
- > 40 kW: €2500 + €110 per kW above 40 kW.
Pellet Stoves (Art. 4.5.10)
€50 per kW with a minimum of €500 for a stove that does not transfer heat to a liquid and a minimum of €1400 for a stove that does transfer heat to a liquid. |

For 2018 the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy has dedicated 100 million euros for ISDE.
