Certification Programmes for RES installations (Alliance Qualité Photovoltaique)

Updated: 07.02.2019

Author: Helena Vidalic

The quality label “Alliance Qualité Photovoltaïque” (AQPV) was launched in July 2011 by industrialists of the photovoltaic sector and is administered by the French Association for Renewable Energy (SER – Syndicat des Energies Renouvelables). Originally, it aimed at promoting the marketing of photovoltaic panels produced in France with high quality standards. However, in the future, the quality label for PV panels shall become a certification label for installers based on the ISO 17065 standard. According to the SER, the AQPV certification label shall assess the conformity of installers with regards to all PV application segments. In complementarity with the association Qualit’ENR, which mainly addresses installers of the residential sector, the AQPV certification aims at certifying installers of the commercial, industrial, agricultural and tertiary sector. The AQPV certification has been launched.
